Contract type: 8:15am–4:15pm, 2 days per week outside exam season; full-time during May–June.

About the Role
The Exams Officer is responsible for the efficient administration, organisation and secure delivery of all GCSE, A Level and internal examinations. You will work closely with SLT, teaching staff, exam boards and invigilators to ensure all assessments run smoothly and in line with awarding body requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer all external and internal examinations in accordance with JCQ and awarding body regulations.
- Liaise with exam boards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and requirements.
- Process exam entries accurately and on time, including fee estimates and monitoring.
- Prepare and publish timetables, seating plans and candidate information.
- Ensure appropriate rooms, resources and invigilators are in place.
- Maintain secure and accurate examination records and office systems.
- Collaborate with SLT to ensure data accuracy and smooth operational planning.
What We’re Looking For
- A-levels or equivalent (essential).
- Experience in exam administration or a similar data/administrative role.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Invigilation experience (desirable).
