A Tailored Sixth Form Experience
As a member of our Sixth Form, students can choose from a wide range of A Level subjects and benefit from a flexible and supportive learning environment. Each student is treated as an individual, with dedicated guidance to help them achieve their ambitions.
Our enrichment opportunities are extensive — from the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and volunteering to gym membership, driving lessons, and tailored UCAS and personal statement support. Students also benefit from careers fairs, independent advice, and subject showcases that connect their studies to real-world pathways in higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.
Entry Requirements
To study A Levels at Sackville, students are expected to achieve at least five Grade 4 passes at GCSE, including a minimum of Grade 5 in the subject they wish to study. Some subjects have higher entry requirements:
- Science – Grade 6
- Mathematics, French or Spanish – Grade 7
- Further Mathematics – Grade 8
However, we consider each student individually, taking into account their ability, attitude, and readiness for the demands of A Level study.

Students are encouraged to explore their interests, expand their knowledge, and prepare for life after school through:
- Over 25 A Level subject options, including Criminology, Health and Social Care, and Politics.
- The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), work experience, and mentoring programmes.
