We are looking for a dependable full-time Minibus Driver to join our school. The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK Category D1 license or be willing to train towards obtaining their Category D1 entitlement. In addition to driving the school minibus, the successful candidate will assist with maintenance work, caretaking and other tasks as outlined by the Headteacher.

About the Role and You

As our Minibus Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely operating the school minibus, including pick-up, drop-off, and school fixtures, while keeping accurate records of daily mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Conducting daily school pick-up and drop-off from 6:30am-8:30am & 3:45pm – 5:45pm.
  • Performing pre- and post-trip inspections of the minibus, reporting any maintenance or repair needs, and carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
  • Assisting with maintenance work, caretaking, or other tasks as directed by the Headteacher.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a valid Category D1 driving licence.
  • Has a clean driving record.
  • Is punctual and reliable.
  • Is flexible and adaptable.
