Full-Time PE Teacher

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of  Physical Education. 

About the Role and You

You will be joining our thriving and supportive Physical Education team.  The successful candidate will be able to enthuse and motivate students with a passion for Physical Education. The candidate must have a dynamic teaching style, presence and personality.  You will have excellent subject knowledge and will be able to cultivate enthusiasm and enjoyment of the subject with a clear focus on student achievement.

What are we looking for?

In addition to the job description, the teacher will be expected to:

  • Complete any relevant NQT/outstanding qualifications
  • Essential: Ability to teach PE and Games to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students
  • Essential: Good work ethic and a sense of humour
  • Desirable: Experience delivering GCSE, PE and Level 3 Sport qualifications in a classroom environment
  • Desirable: Ability to coach football, rugby and/or cricket to a high standard
  • Extra-curricular: To assist the HOD in arranging and delivering the school clubs and fixtures calendar
