Sixth Form

A tailored Sixth Form curriculum

As a member of our Sixth Form, students choose to study from wide choice of subjects and take advantage of our unique and tailored curriculum. Sixth Formers are treated as individuals and participate in an enrichment programme, including the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme, which faciliates their personal development.

The Sixth Form has no formal school uniform but rather our dress code is based upon business principles to recognise our students’ growing maturity.

To study A Levels at Sackville a student needs to gain at least five Grade 4 passes with a minimum of a Grade 5 in the subject to be taken with the following exceptions: a Grade 6 to study a Science, a Grade 7 to study Maths, French or Spanish and a Grade 8 to study Further Maths.  However, this is not prescriptive and consideration will be given to a student who can demonstrate the ability and maturity to cope with the A Level courses here.

We are committed to ensuring that our Sixth Formers leave Sackville as mature, confident young adults who are well prepared and qualified for their life ahead.
