PSA Quiz Night a great success
Thanks to all the parents, pupils, staff and friends of Sackville that made last Saturday’s Quiz Night a huge success. Due to a very strong turnout we were able to fill both the Dining Hall and the Green Room with nearly 20 teams. Competition was healthy but good natured and lots of fun was had by all.
Of course, the biggest success of the night was the fact that over £1,000 was raised. This will help towards our “Pavilion Fund”.
The Lent Term 100 Club was also drawn and congratulations to the following winners
- 1st Prize Thomas Kingston
- 2nd Prize William Pearman
- 3rd Prize Jennifer Goodwin
Please watch the website for details of future events, our next target is to fill the sports hall!!
Thanks again to all those who combined supporting Sackville with good fun – an excellent pairing.

The Sackville Association
Welcome to the Sackville Parent and Staff Association. The Sackville Association was formed with the intention of providing the students of Sackville with those “extras” that make things a little easier or just more fun.
We feel that it is important that the parents are involved together with the school to strengthen the already unique atmosphere that Sackville has. To this end the Committee, which meets once or twice per term, arrange various social fund raising events. These events provide a great way to meet other parents on an informal basis. Social events organized recently include a BBQ, Murder Mystery Evening and even a Ball. Forthcoming events can be found here on the web site.
Over the years the Sackville Association has raised thousands of pounds through the success of these events and has invested in many areas from things as diverse as basketball hoops for the playground through to a visiting counsellor providing advice and support to students.
When your child joins Sackville you automatically become a member of the Association – we are parents just like yourself and we are always looking for new recruits so, if you would like to get involved, either as a committee member or simply to offer your help and support for events then please contact us. We can be found in attendance at most of the school events often providing refreshments and support so please come and speak to us or, for a more direct and immediate contact, please feel free to email us at SA@sackvilleschool.com.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
