Mr Jason Eccles

In the beginning I had never planned on education as a career. Various paths took me through world travels, numerous odd employments from petrol sales to the military and lead eventually to study and university. I learned one major thing from my travels thus far, life moves quickly and if you don't stop to look around once in a while you might miss it.

It seems to have been an fleeting instant since I was in school and here I am on the other side of the desk saying the same things to students which my teachers told me and I never believed. I find that oddly humorous and paradoxical but teaching is the first job I don't dread in the morning. I teach because I believe in some way that what I do makes a difference even in the most basic ways.

Sackville is the first private school I have taught at and it is a place in which I can see the changes in people. Inspiration is something you can see and that is what makes this school a great place to work.
