Before Sackville

To start a little from the beginning, when I was young my dream was to be a ballerina but only reaching 5 foot 2 and a bit I decided that maybe that was not going to be, especially after asking my parents’ to stretch me on the rack...to that the answers was definitely no. So I followed the career of office work while carrying on my dancing as a hobby.

Before I came to work at Sackville I worked for an International School at Bedgebury, Goudhurst. My main role there was at weekends to help and provide support to the pupils and staff living on site as it is a boarding school. I have trained most of my life as a dancer and this is one of my big passions

Sackville

I have not long ago joined the family at Sackville School but I am already feeling much at home and thoroughly enjoying it. I started at the end of October this year as the new receptionist, so you will see my face on your first entry through the front door, I am the face that looks up from behind the wooden desk that I am only just tall enough to see over.  I find the staff are so friendly and children are just as friendly.

Passions

My biggest passion in life is dancing, I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, acquiring many and various dance exams up to a professional level. My dancing is an ongoing goal, my main aim is to qualify as a ballet teacher. Apart from dancing I do a lot of running and horse riding obtaining some qualifications in horse husbandry. I am a big animal lover and have quite a zoo at home including 4 horses which are handful.

My family are important to me and I strive to enjoy life and make the most of it. I love to read and watch films (except chick flicks). I am a bit of a comic book film geek and love all the X-Men films and the ones that have followed. History had to have been one of my favourite lessons when I was at school and I still continue to get to grips with our strong historic country and its past. 

I am not a strong sports watcher but if I do watch anything it would have to be the rugby, six nations and world cup and you can probably hear me yelling if you listening carefully.
