Year7 -  Practical 22nd May - Fork Biscuits

100g butter

50g caster sugar

150g self raising flour

Optional variation: use just 120g flour and add 15g cocoa to make chocolate flavour

All ingredients pre weighed as usual please and don't forget a container to take those biscuits home in!

Year 8 Practical 16th May

Orange Scotch Pancakes

1 oranges

A little milk (to make the juice of the oranges up to 200ml)

175g self raising flour

1 tsp baking powder

40g caster sugar

1 egg

a little oil for frying

Butter and golden/maple syrup to serve

 Practical 23rd May - Key Lime Pie

4 large limes

400g tin of condesned milk

450ml double cream

150g digestive biscuits

65g butter

25g demerera sugar

Plus a 20cm sandwich/flan tin to make product in and take it home me and a container to put this is to make sure it gets home in one (very tasty) piece. All ingredients pre weighed as usual please

 

Year 9 -Practical 14th May - Chicken Tikka Masala

2 tbsp oil

1 onion

250g chicken or turkey breast or vegetarian alternative (e.g. quorn pieces)

2 tsp tikka paste

1 tsp tandoore paste

small carton cream or yoghurt

Optional extra - fresh coriander to garnish  and quick cook rice to serve with dish

Container to take dish home in and ingredients preweighed please

Practical 21st May - rock buns

200g self raising glour

75g butter or margarine

75g sugar

75g dried fruit (or chocolate chips if you wish)

1 egg

Plus a container to take buns home in and all ingredients pre weighed please
