School Lunches and Menu

Head of Sackville kitchens is Ms Dawn Simmons, who is also an outside caterer.  She prepares our meals on site and often spoils us with her delicious homemade dinners and desserts.

Each day there is a choice of a main hot meal or salad from the salad bar.  The salad bar is extensive and offers something for vegetarians, as well as meat and fish.  Almost every type of salad is offered from pasta, to rice to ordinary salad.  Jacket potatoes are on the menu each day and can be ordered in advance; sausages, pizza or a vegetarian meal can also be ordered.  Bread rolls are also available every day and there are plenty of fillings should a pupil wish to make up rolls for lunch.

The main dessert varies from day to day, but there is always an option to have either a yoghurt or something from the fruit bowl. 

Each term we have theme days at Sackville and Ms Simmons prepares a special lunch for the hot menu.
