Headmaster's Welcome

Sackville School introduced itself to me, as I suspect it has to countless others, via an inspiring driveway winding through beautiful grounds.  As arresting as this was my initial impressions were dominated more by Sackville's character which is instantly enveloping and uniquely tangible.  This is a school which strikes a productive balance between a real sense of purpose, solid traditional values, and the ability to care for individuals.

Core to our mission here is the need to inspire true enthusiasm for learning.  This is achieved through exceptional teachers, each sympathetic to individualised and cognitively based learning processes, working with small classes of motivated pupils. Our expectations are unashamedly high.

We believe that each of our pupils is an individual yet should learn to thrive productively as part of a community.  Integrity, respect and honour are key values which are emphasised here at Sackville School.   We view education holistically, as preparation for the challenges of life, and as the development of both intellect and character.
