Sackville School

GCSE Options

Years 10 and 11 are the years that students will focus on major public examinations for the first time and make choices about further study, which will affect the rest of their lives.

At Sackville School we believe it is in the students’ best interests to provide a broad range of subjects to give a balanced curriculum.  The following information provides details about the GCSE courses commencing in Year 10, September 2011 as well as what we expect from our GCSE students.

A place in the Sixth Form at Sackville requires five GCSE passes at grade C or above, usually with at least B grades in the subjects selected for Advanced Level study.
