Examination Results

2011 GCSE:

After last year’s record 91% of students gaining 5 or more A*-C GCSE passes we were thrilled to see the bar raised even higher this year with the equivalent figure being 93%.  We hope this will consolidate our position as the highest performing mixed ability school in the area. Statistics, Music and Physics gained 100% pass rates with Maths, DT, Biology, Business Studies and Chemistry all scoring around 90%.  The even better news is that our top 4 strongest performers at GCSE have chosen Sackville for 6^th form. 

2011 GCE (A-level):

100% Pass rate at A2 (A’Level)
Sackville School’s headmaster Peter Lane was quick to praise his students on an outstanding set of A-level results.  The school’s year 13 age group students once again gained a 100% A2 pass rate with a very pleasing 45% gaining an A or B grade.   All these students have achieved places at one of their top two university choices. Mr Lane sees these as the best set of results in recent years and commented that “This is a wonderful set of students most of whom have been at the school since they were 11.  They are all real workers and, just as importantly, thoroughly decent people.  We are very proud of them. Congratulations, and good luck and happiness to them in their life at University."
