Charity Work

Charity Work at Sackville

I am very proud that Sackville as a school is always prepared to raise money for good causes.  It is something, to my mind, which gives invaluable experiences and values to children.  I just wanted to let you know about the work our children and staff have done this year with the list of charities we have supported:

Kent Air Ambulance Trust

UNICEF Haiti Appeal

The Fairtrade Foundation

Hospice in the Weald

Children in Need Fund

Cancer Research UK

Demelza Kent

In total we have raised almost £2,200 for these charities and the vast majority of these efforts have been student led.

Please also scour your homes for old pairs of reading glasses.  We are collecting these in order to send them to impoverished areas of the world so they can be used to help restore sight.
