Sackville School admissions made easy

When it comes to school admissions, we try to keep it as simple as possible and make sure that everyone is suited to Sackville.

We welcome pupils through the Common Entrance Examination from a variety of prep schools in this area including; St Michaels, Hilden Grange, Solefield School, The New Beacon, Sevenoaks Prep, Hazelwood School, Yardley Court, Derwent Lodge, and Bickley Park.

Pupils have the opportunity to join the school at three main entry points, although we welcome pupils at any point in the year providing we can accommodate their needs. These main entry points are:

Year 7 school admissions

To join in Year 7, pupils will take an entry assessment to ensure that we can accommodate their needs, and also know where to best place them within the school.

Year 9 school admissions

Pupils who join in Year 9 from Prep Schools do so via the Common Entrance Examination, but we also ask that they sit our own assessment prior to entry.

Year 12 school admissions

Pre-qualification requirements are: a minimum of five Grade 4 or above GCSE passes and at least a Grade 5 in the selected A-level subjects.  For Maths and Foreign Languages we look for a Grade 7 at GCSE level. Students must pass our interview process prior to acceptance.
